I usually love fresh fruit. :) Bananas, Oranges, Watermelon, Pomegranates, Plums, Peaches, Cherries, etc. We love fresh pineapple here but will buy canned peaches and canned pineapple sometimes. :)

OK - SO, since I was not too clear in my question and my thinking this morning....... What is the best way to store fresh strawberries, blueberries, rasberries and blackberries? I always put them in the fridge and keep them in their container. But, if they don't get eaten quickly - they turn to YUK. That is why I am buying "berries" frozen now.
The best way to store berries? In muffins!
Or preserves. Or muffins AND preserves!

(If you're not going to eat them right away, put them in the freezer.)

I don't eat a lot of fruit, but when I do it is normally fresh. We have blueberry bushes, so I do freeze must of the harvest so I can enjoy it all winter. :)
