This fungus appeared in my cat some months ago, and I can't get rid of it

This appeared 4 months ago, I've got him to the vet, and they told me to put a lotion in the area and give him a medicine, but I don't notice any Improvement :/ (I cut the hair in the area, it hasn't fallen out)
Ps: sorry for my poor english.. Its not my first language.

Since it's been four months of treatment and it hasn't cleared up, I would take him back and ask the Vet to take a skin culture to find out exactly what it is. It's possible he needs a different medication for it.

I agree. Not all medicines work on all fungi.

Welcome to The Cat Site! I agree about the return visit to the vet. As I read your original post I was waiting for the part about having done a skin culture already....so you definitely need to ask for one now.
