You know you're from the upper midwest when...

...you have to plug your car in at night. And it's not one of those new fangled electric cars either.

I had to plug my car in in high school. It was a really really ooooold cadillac deville, and if I didn't plug it in, it wouldn't start. Thankfully, my car is slightly newer now and I don't have to plug it in.

My eyeballs froze on the way to the bus stop this morning. I debated driving, but there were crashes all over the metro from black ice, so I took my chances with the bus and cold.

We have decided our next car is DEFINITELY going to have those.
Leather seats are cold when it's -5 outside.
We've been trying to decide if we're going to have the dealer put in a remote start. Would be nice not to have to go out to start it in the winter.

I totally wish I had a remote start. I wanted to do it over the summer, but you know how it is something else more necessary always came up.
