The cats are getting a Christmas present

The husband and I were out shopping the other day and found a cat tree that will fit in our apartment.  It's always been a tradition in both families to get the pets presents as we view them as part of the family and should not be excluded.  So we're going to get this cat tree and tie a stocking to it for them with toys and treats inside.  We just need to figure out where to put it.  I would like it to be by a window, but that may be more difficult than it should be due to how we have stuff set up.  

Do you get your pets presents?  What are they getting this year?

I am contemplating a cat tree before year's end for both Casper and Cocoa.  However, Cocoa's first Gotcha Day is a few days before Christmas, so I did order a special gift for her.  A big bag of sparkly balls in various colors.  Of all of her toys, the sparkle balls are her absolute favorite.  I'm assuming she will approve.
