Hello friends, I have a 2.5 year old male Scottish Fold who has been diagnosed with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. His vet had until recently refused to neuter him due to consistently high ALT levels. However, in diagnosing his adrenal hyperplasia, his T4 and testosterone levels were tested. While T4 is within normal range, his testosterone levels is showing 5.0 nmol/l (no reference range was provided by the testing Lab). The vet has advised that 5.0 nmol/l is extremely low and complicates his treatment, and that we should move forward with a neutering operation irrespective of ALT levels. I've not been able to find anything online about reference ranges for testosterone levels for male Scottish Folds (or cats in general), and would appreciate advice if any expert reads this. Thank you!
