Strange growth on paw pad.

Hi everyone. Not sure what info is relevant but I have a 5 year old cat who has a strange growth on his paw pad. He has possibly had this for a while I'm unsure as I'm visually impaired and just noticed it when I was checking his paws.

It looks yellow and it seems quite hard. Is it maybe some extra nail? He is walking absolutely fine and seems to have no issues with his law in any way

It looks like a feline cutaneous horn, a sort of skin cyst caused by an overproduction of keratin. They're benign but should be removed by a vet.
