Hey, we got our got spayed a week ago, and today I got home from work and she’s gotten out of her cone and pulled one of her stitches out. I can’t get the cone back on her, she’s terrified of it and was getting scared of me aswell. There are still 2 stitches left, there is no redness, no swelling, no bleeding and the wound is not open either . Should I be worried? I know I may be over reacting but I’m just sceptical with what can happen . She is due to have them out in 3 days time aswell.

After a week, the wound should be more or less healed so unless you can see it opening I should think it will be fine, just keep an eye on her, no doubt she will try to get the other stitches out too. Can you post a photo?
