Spay Incision Looking Weird

It's been a little over two weeks since my kitty had her spay surgery. I noticed last week that her incision had looked a little scabby and red, so I brought her back to her vet, who said that it just looked irritated since her and her sister are so active. He said to keep the e-collar on for another 10 days (I'm supposed to be able to take it off in about 3 days.)

However, I noticed this underneath one of her scabs as I was using a soft wet cloth to clean around the incision. It kinda scares me a little. Is this something to be worried about or is it just normal healing? Should I make another trip to the vet?

Hi! Is that actually pushing through from underneath the skin/scar/scab? Can you send these photos, especially the bottom one to your vet as soon as you can?

Looks like maybe she popped a stitch. I'd get her to the vet for a check.

I'd check with your vet. I'd like to see it a little more healed at 2 weeks post surgery then that.
