Aw, they might have CH. Getting my first kitty with CH is what got me started on special needs cats.
The more pressing issue in that story is that they are only 3 weeks old.

What a story. If it were me, I would have taken the whole box of kittens and begun work from there to resolve whatever was going on by networking locally.
