This was taken in Oak Glen, in the mountains of Southern California. That big storm we had caused a mudslide which took the dude in the film by surprise.

I saw that in the LA Times.....that is where the apple orchards are. I recall going there as a kid......my last house was at the base of the Angeles National Forest. Never again, at least for me.

Remember the ENORMOUS rock that tried to ride the 101 after another fire followed by rain?

Or the Montecito mudslides?

I certainly do! For me it was a wildfire, although ultimately the house did not burn. It was in escrow and the buyers still wanted it, thankfully, so we got out of Dodge.
