Solar Eclipse (Indian Ocean)

Just wanted to share for any of our members near the indian ocean.
Yahoo News.
The Solar Eclipse can be seen over the Indian Ocean and western Indonesia before petering out just short of Mindanao, the Philippines.
And a partial eclipse can be seen in a much wider swathe, including the southern third of Africa, Madagascar, Australia, Southeast India, Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

I think its so cool.
To bad you can not see it in the USA.

I saw one once, was lucky enough to be working next to a welding shop, and one of the guys there gave me a welders mask so I could look directly at the eclipse.

It was beautiful...and eerie. Everything got so dim despite the bright sunshine. I can understand why the ancients thought it was an omen.
