One of my girls already has really stinky poo, always has, so I figured it wouldn’t really matter.

I was wrong. After two days of mixing the new food with the old I can already smell a difference. It’s going to be a looong 2-3 months while we use up this food and transition to something else!

I posted earlier about switching from the royal canin selected protein rabbit, and ended up getting a bag of the instinct that has very similar ingredients. I guess I’ll try Merrick or blue buffalo limited ingredient duck or turkey as I don’t think there is another rabbit option.

Based on the comments I read from the USA, I think you can return the food and get a refund.
Yes, this is very often the case. I think the general rule in the stores I shop is that if there's more than half a bag left you can return it. (One of the benefits of shopping locally! Tomorrow's errands will include returning a couple cans of food the cats just don't like now.)
