Both of my cats are strictly indoor-only cats. Tangerine is able to open our screen door and both of them bolt out. Clearly, Pikachu is the smart one because he waits patiently while Tangerine paws at it, then Tangerine gets in trouble 
(my husband likes the squirt bottle method and I can't break him of it...MEN!)
We can latch/lock the door, but when we are working in the yard and need go back inside it's really inconvenient because we are locked out and have to go all the way around to the side door. We can't just switch the lock around because then that would lock us in when we are working inside. Just keeping the glass door closed isn't really an option as I like the fresh air when I'm inside, and in the summer months it's stifling without the breeze going through the house (we don't have AC).
Does anyone know of a two-way sliding door latch so it can be unlocked from either side? I appreciate your help!! Thanks
