Saw a line running down my cat’s eye

Evening.
Was playing with my cat when I noticed a line running down her left eye.
I have not seen this before today.
Is this something I should be concerned about?
any help would be appreciated.

That's quite a distinct line. It could be a scratch or something else. Is it bothering her, weeping or squinting? Can you post the photo to your vet to be on the safe side, most vets will accept and look at the photo.

Looks like an eye booger.

Does she have allergies?
What kind of allergens (dust or pollen) are active in your area right now?

Appears to have disappeared over night.

And allergens are likely dust and pollen. Nothing out of the ordinary.

It did look like that mucus that you see sometimes over an eye.....if it is gone, great but watch it in case it has another cause or keeps recurring.
