Throwing out yet another spay thread, it seems I'm in similar company of cat parents going through this though!

It's about day 8 of the healing for my little girl. And questions on her returning to normal activity is now starting to pop up as she has become increasingly more mobile and hard to contain.
Now, I'm not too sure what to go on, I see lots of different opinions on 7 to 10 days, and even 14. However the incision is still scabbed, even 8 days in. So I'm wondering if maybe I should just wait until the incision has no scab apparent anymore before I start letting her resume normal life and activity out of her onesie.

What do you guys think is best?

Not a veterinarian, but in my experience...

If there have been no issues with the healing process, she is eating/drinking/urinating/defecating normally, and she's not displaying any signs of pain or the like, eight days is plenty of time, and she can resume to normal activity.

Signed, a cat lady with five spayed (female) cats and various other fosters/rescues who've had no spay surgery complications. :hearthrob:
