I'd describe it as "multicultural", and that increases with each generation. My husband generally uses "crazy".

Different but that's not a bad thing.
Depends on which side of the family.
My mom's - civilized. (in comparison to my dad's side of the family.) They went to college, have good jobs, are very book smart, there isn't much drama, everyone gets along, etc.
My Dad's - Mainer's. Most of them didn't move very far from home, are very conservative, and know how to work with their hands. The drama is nuts.
