Good morning!

What do you always forget to buy whenever you go grocery shopping? Do you make a special trip to grab that one item or do you make do without it until next time?

I'm pretty good at remembering to get all the cat and human food, but I often forget some of the cleaning stuff we need. I've been meaning to buy new rubber gloves for about two weeks now, but it keeps slipping my mind. A leaky finger isn't really enough to make another trip to the supermarket, which is why my washing up gloves have sticky tape around them.



Things like bath cleaner, floor cleaner, dish washing liquid etc are interchangeable in a pinch. The only thing I panic about forgetting to buy is the enzyme cleaner. Just in case we have some kind of kitty rebellion on our hands.

I have been meaning to get some heavy duty de-greaser solution for a few months now . I have to get it at a store I don't go to very often, even though it's basically in the same parking lot as my grocery store, I just never get there!
Otherwise, there really isn't anything specific I usually forget when it comes to groceries. I just randomly forget to add things to my list on occasion, especially if it's something I don't use often. And unless I really needed it for a specific meal or occasion, I would do without until the next week when I go shopping again.

I always forget non-food items especially the ones I don't use on a daily basis. I don't make a special trip for them but rather add them to my list for next time.

It is usually some type of cleaning product, I think it is just me subconsciously rebelling at cleaning. I don't make a special trip. I do sometimes forget the toilet paper and I do have to make a special trip for that.

Creamer. Why? I always drink my coffee hot and black. Rick has started drinking iced coffee since he retired. He likes his coffee flavored and sweet. He'll drink something like Nutty Caramel or Vanilla Caramel, something like that. And he always adds creamer. We always forget to buy the stuff. If we're around the grocery store later in the week, we'll stop in; otherwise, he'll let it go til the next grocery trip.

Milk. I often go to the grocery store but forget to get milk. I need to get some today!
