It's not quite Saturday here yet but I have to be up early tomorrow morning, so I'm posting this now.

What was the last thing you bought for yourself?

The last thing I bought was a bottle of Barq's rootbeer.

Well following your lead...the last thing I bought for myself was a Bud Light 40, and I am drinking it myself right now!

Ummm, two things:

A set of 3 Taste of Home cookbooks from QVC (came w/a free subscription to Taste of Home)

The Southern Living Christmas Cookbook

A silver ring in Seattle when I was visiting my sister. We always go to this fabulous jewelry shop. They have the most unique rings and pendants.

Yesterday I bought myself a new coffee maker and a miniature sago palm tree.

a leather travel purse, about two weeks ago

I bought myself a couple of summer tops to take with me down the shore and a couple of pairs of skorts which is a skirt but is like wearing shorts. I wear those at night down the shore when we go to the clubs. They are very comfortable and I can sit any way I like

Also bought a new pair of wedgie sandals that are very pretty for wearing in the evening also. We will be going away for a few days possibly next week if the weather is good.

I bought a new do. AKA a hair cut

Just today alone:

At yard sales: 2 purses, a t-shirt, 2 skirts, 2 pair of shoes, 2 decorative cat plates.

At Old Navy: 3 summer dresses & a t-shirt.

At Zellers: A new bra, a pair or jean shorts & a BBQ cover.

At Lawtons: Some new foundation make-up & mascara.

At a friend's shop, Sudsmuffin: 2 bath bombs, some chocolate "bath candy" & Pumpkin Spice bath salts.

Dana also got some things and we picked some great deals up for the fosters. (A heated pet bed for newborn/sick kittens & a new vaporizer for those who have bad upper resp. infections.)

It was a good shopping day!
