We don't get many trick-or-treaters any more, but we've had extremely good results handing out quarters. The kids love them, parents don't feel a need to have them X-rayed, and the leftovers don't raise our blood sugar.

Do they still have the trick or treat for UNICEF? I always gave the kids candy in addition to putting money in the UNICEF box.
