Probably a Stephen King novel, Duma Key. Like all of his novels it does have a horror element but it is mostly a beautifully written story of a man who perseveres through a devastating physical injury that requires him to rebuild his body and his life.

I honestly don't think I have one. There are certainly books I've read more than once but I couldn't say I had a favourite.

The Wisdom of Insecurity by Alan Watts.
I read it as a teenager and it pretty well changed my life.

So many favorites it's hard to choose. In second grade my favorite book was "Danny and the Dinosaur". Another childhood favorite was "Heidi" by Johanna Spyry. One of these days I'm going to read it in the original German.

The book I've probably reread more times than any other is "The Robe" by Lloyd C. Douglas.
