Good morning and Happy Friday!

I completely forgot about the Question of the Day this morning. That's what happens when I'm off work on a Friday, I guess.

How many license plates does your state or country require on your vehicle?

In Pennsylvania USA, we are required to have one plate and it's attached on the rear.

All cars in Ohio with Ohio plates have two, front and back, so I assume Ohio requires two.  I occasionally see cars with damage on the front bumper have their plate up on the dash board in the front window so I assume it is a requirement.

2 are required here, front and back, and same for all surrounding states as well. I'm always surprised when I see a car from another state with only 1 plate!

One plate on the rear of the car.

I noticed they have been "upgrading" our red light enforcement cameras.
I'm surprised they haven't made 2 plates mandatory with that yet.

Two. The first two letters show your county seat, and the plates also indicate which EU country the car is registered in.

One front and one rear.

Yellow reg plates show that your car is a small vehicle, road tax is cheaper and you can drive on the highway at a reduced rate. White plates are for larger cars and are more expensive to run. I think that's part of an initiative to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.
