It snowed last week and its just all melting now,I love fresh snow when we get a lot but I hate it when it starts melting and even worse when it freezes.I want it to snow again and give us a decent amount so the kids can really enjoy it but I don't think it will again now. The only problem is Britain can't seem to cope with more than 5cm of snow we seem to come to a standstill, makes me laugh when you see countrys like Russia cope so well.x
No accumulating snowfalls here, yet. That may change Monday night.
After the blizzards of the late 1970s I have had my fill of snowy weather. As as kid I always seemed to be sick when we would get a good snow and therefore unable to enjoy it.
We just received two inches of snow yesterday into last night; today we have the gusting winds after the storm. Thankfully, we've not had a lot of snow this year and I don't miss it one bit!
We haven't really had snow all winter, but we got a little last night. I went into the bar last night around mid-night and it was absolutely POURING out, like crazy crazy rain. I came out of the bar 1.5 hours later and it was like blizzard snow. Everyone was pretty confused lol. But, it wasn't very much snow, and it'll probably melt this week. I like the first snowfall of the year, and snow around Christmas, other than that the snow can go away
This time last week we had temps in the mid 40's and I actually did some yard work. Today its sunny with a temp of 18F wind chill of 4F and we have about 2-3 inches of snow on the ground. Windy too.
We finally have a bit of snow on the ground. It's been an amazingly mild winterhere, and this snow won't last. I actually wouldn't mind a bit more snow, but I'm not complaining about a mild winter!
No snow on the ground here, even in the shade, which is unusual for the time of year.
We were supposed to get several inches yesterday, but that storm fizzled out - it snowed for a few hours, but never accumulated. I was *almost* disappointed (after the horrible, horrible winter we had last year, I can hardly complain about this one!).
We have snow on the ground from a snowstorm Friday. . I love the snow actually. This winter has been really mild in Chicago and we have really had only two snow storms which to me were not really anything to speak of. I really like the colder weather and hope this summer will be "mild" too and NOT HOT :cross: I would like some more snow before Spring is over
