Pregnant cat, water broke 2 days ago, no kittens

My 4 yr old cat's water broke 2 days ago. She is having hard contractions, meowing in pain, and nothing more is happening.

She actually just pushed first out one!

I realize that the first kitten was only born about 30 mintues ago. If your cat appears to be in distress and unable to deliver another kitten, you will need to get some help for her.

Yes, water can break several days early as you have now learned, but the kittens are safe because each one is still encased in its own water sac as well.

How are things going now? Has mom finished delivering?
