is it possible for the kittens to be way to large for my momma cat .
I'm not sure if she has ever had kittens but judging by how clingy she has become id say it's her first litter
When I got my TT . she was a stray and not very good with anyone or anything but me it was kind of fate if u will ok moving forward she has completely changed in the past yr that ive had her now she is just a lazy house cat lol
I'm not sure when she became pregnant but I'm concerned about how big the kittens are she is so miserably big and I don't want to not be thorough that being said can anyone offer any kind of helping advice other than take her to the vet. P.s she can't even clean her personal areas if u will 15844654760233017986999815481594.jpg 15844655306623476497714377689769.jpg 15844654760233017986999815481594.jpg 15844655306623476497714377689769.jpg 15844655849584971241698297281673.jpg

In my experience (growing up with one pregnant cat after another ) the issue when momma is huge is that 1) she may be skinny to begin with which makes her belly seem even larger, or 2) she is carrying a lot of babies. If you can’t take her to the vet for a check then you want to make sure she has a birthing box she feels safe in and you want to be in attendance as she delivers in case she needs help or panics. Do some reading up now on what you can do to help her and her babies and have supplies on hand in case some need supplemental feeding, which they may if it is a large litter.

Also, make sure this poor girl gets spayed as soon after her kittens are weaned as possible. Clearly pregnancy makes her miserable and you don’t need another litter to care for.

Hi!
Can you help her clean herself, with a damp warm cloth, and then a dry cloth?

The thing with taking her in to a vet is that gives the vet familiarity with her situation. I realize vet clinics may be having shorter hours et al. which might make it more challenging to get her in now, but then if there are problems during the birthing which could happen after clinic hours you'll be able to obtain their emergency number and have that at hand.

She's such a sweetheart ❤💕

What a cute cat. I would take her to see the vet. If the kittens are too big for her to pass then she may need a c-section. You don't want to take the risk because if she can't pass the kittens naturally she could go into medical distress and the kittens could die due to lack of oxygen.

Vet trip for sure, she might not be able to birth them normally and may need a csection. id email the vet the pictures and see what they think. be sure to be feeding her kitten food and a ton of it

This seems normal to me, and most cats do fine! My cat was way bigger with four and did fine. Keep us posted! :)

My cat the day before delivering 4 healthy kittens (now 5 years old):
