Prednisolone liquid dose is it high?

The emergency vet put my 13 pound cat on prednisolone. The dose is .6 ml once a day. But the strength is 10 mg/ml. I am not seeing my regular vet for another week. So wanted thoughts on dose. He has enlarged lymph nodes. But tested negative for cancer based on the PARR test. He’s two years old.

What about the strength being 10 mg.

That's a question for the vet to answer. Pred is available in several different strenghts. The emergency vet chose the one best suited for your cat's specific issue and body weight.
