Yes, I have been trying to get him to take better care of himself, but he's stubborn.

Maybe this scare will be enough to make him think twice.

And I apologize for not responding sooner, but needless to say, I've been preoccupied.

My s/o was released from the hospital last night.

The bleeding wasn't caused by bleeding ulcers like last time. They found polyps which they supposedly took care of when they did a colonoscopy (sp?), but they don't think they're cancerous.

We'll find out the results when he goes back in for a check-up.
