So cool!

I like the old appearance of most animals more than the "modern" appearances. I think the features back then were prominent enough to be recognized, but not so exaggerated that they were causing health problems, especially with brachycephalics.

I've never understood why breeders started shoving their faces in.

Why do breeders think the persian looks better with that flat face?
Why do they think the new siamese are better than the old ones?
Why do they have to play around with animals at all?

I don't get it either - the Siamese is my favourite breed, but not the pointed Oriental look. I much prefer the Applehead Siamese/Thai appearance.

I would love to see someone compile something like this for cats:
