Persian Cat In Southern Florida (very Urgent - Owner Must Leave Country)

Hey folks. This cat's name is Shushu. She is a 4 year old female, unspayed Persian cat in Melbourne, FL. The owner must leave the country within 10 days for legal reasons, and he can't take this cat back with him to his home country. I am really hoping to help identify a Persian rescue organization in southern florida to take her in.

Am trying to ensure an org which will get her spayed and save her from someone just getting her to breed her. Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.

Melbourne FL area: If you don’t find a Persian rescue, try contacting H.O.P.E. for Brevard. Number on main page of site I think is for thrift store, the info in contact tab is maybe what you need. Not a Persian rescue, but a pretty active rescue group, even went up to the panhandle after the last hurricane and brought fuzzies back to foster and home. Guessing it’ll take at least 24 hours for a response. Big on TNR, so they aren’t going to give the cat to a breeder, I’d bet.
