I'm sure this is no big deal to most of you here, yet I wanted to share. It's taken me a full 2 months to convince our Mr. Sparks, 2-3 adult, adopted shelter cat that it is perfectly fine to take cat naps on the couch. Apparently he was in a good home for a long while, as he has perfect house manners. Although there are some things he just wouldn't do, like even sit on my lap on the couch, despite all my encouragement. I mean seriously, what's the point of having a cat, unless it is to sit on my lap & get kitty loving.
This is the setting for his late afternoon TV station, aka bird watching window, He also has a window seat in the den and another cat tree in the living room. Depending on his mood & what's on TV, he moves accordingly. The rest of the time he is at my feet helping with my chores & cooking. He's a barrel of loving laughs and a perfect fit for our home. Thanks for letting me share our handsome boy.
