Next time you go shopping online, here's an easy way to donate to your favorite animal rescue organization at the same time.
We learned about www.AdoptAShelter.com at the BlogPaws pet bloggers conference last week. Cosmo and I had the chance to meet founder and CEO Chris Ruben who explained the benefits of the new online community to us.
"Just by shopping online at your favorite store, you can earn money for the shelter you choose and you don't even need to log on or remember a password," said Ruben. "So even if you're shopping at 2 a.m., you can help your favorite animal rescue group."
It really is simple as 1-2-3 and the stores from which to choose are a terrific selection of more than 400 top retailers... probably at least a few where you already shop... Banana Republic, PetSmart, Lowe's and North Face just to name a few!

1. Choose a shelter to adopt -- You can also add a shelter or organization here, and since this is still pretty new, we suggest adding your local favorites
2. Shop online - Once you select a shelter, you'll be taken to an extensive list of retailers
3. Shelter gets money - Every time you shop using adoptashelter.com, you financially support your favorite animal charity
