I'm looking into starting my 15-yo Amber on Omega-3 to help with arthritis. She currently gets a joint supplement with glucosamine and chondroitin. I'd like to add Omega-3.

I take veggie-derived Omega-3's myself because I don't eat fish or meat. If I buy human Omega-3 fish oil for Amber, is there anything I need to look out for as far as "extra" or inactive ingredients she should not have? Should I give solely Omega-3 or is a Omega 3-6-9 ok? What dosage is appropriate?

Anyone know any other things that can help arthritis besides what I'm doing already?
I know CBD oil is one possibility but I am not comfortable giving it to her for a variety of reasons.
The other one I know of is green-lipped mussel - is that worth adding as well?
