DH says I can't pick out movies anymore. The last one I got at RedBox (DVD vending machine) was "Blindness", and it was definitely strange....but riveting. The premise is there is a strange epidemic where people suddenly develope a blindness where they see white instead of black. The government freaks because more people get infected and they start quarentining them. Then, it kind of becomes the "Lord of the Flies" type thing and watching how a society that, at that point, is equal (as in can't see) and who comes out on top and who gets a powertrip.
It was probably one of the strangest movies we have watched (we have watched it twice and still go "WTH???") but we couldn't STOP watching it...both times. I just love the psychological dramas that give insite into characters minds. It's not a thriller, it's more suspense and just strange, but if you have time and see it for rent, and like that kind of thing, it's worth it...if you like to analyze things. I guess I just like strange things.
