My female is skin and bones and I'm not sure what to do.
Thread about her pregnancy for information: Pictures Of Week 8?
She will refuse all hard food, but will accept table scraps and soft food no problem.
It's starting to anger me because she NEEDS to fatten up!
I've tried giving her soft food 3 times a day, but the problem there is always having to buy more and two things I can't afford it 24/7 and I have toddlers to take care of.
If I stop altogether will she eventually give up and just eat the dry food?
It's getting ridiculous.
Any advice is appreciated, any criticism = ignored.

My nursing cat is eating and eating too (she is eating for five)and she prefers wet food. They need a lot fluid in their diet. So I supplement her food with kitten replacement milk and make it more diluted than the instructions say. She also likes purina kitten bifensis biscuits, and comes in large pack that goes a long way (I still give her wet food too).

Ooo, kitten milk! Good idea. There's water out all the time, but she barely drinks it so it's very confusing! Guessing she wants to be more natural in that she wants fluids from her food? Well anyway thank you for the advice it really helps!

Today I went ahead and purchased Horizon Legacy for Cats & Kittens... it's supposed to be a real nice meaty dry food! Hopefully it works out.
