Not sure what this is?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. So a little back story on my little guy, Morty. He had a bad puss filled acne that I quickly noticed and got rid of.
But now, I've been noticing these small areas that feel like scabs. It doesn't hurt him, they don't have legs, so they're not a parasite or tick.

Are these birth marks that I just didn't notice or are these scabs from my other cat playing with him?

Have you tried to express (gently squeeze from underneath) it? It doesn't look typical, but possibly it's a sebaceous cyst? If so it would have a white, grey or brown waxy substance in it.

It doesn't hurt him but it looks like brownish red coming out. The top bit was scratched off but it's not continuesly coming out
