I just found out that dogs love to eat cat poop!!!! They love to go into litter boxes to seek treats. They feel it's a delicacy for them. YUCK!!!

Yup. You need to scoop as soon as possible after the cat uses it or use some kind of covered box or room the dog can’t get into.

Kitty cookies. Yup. One of my mother's dogs would do that from time to time. She was also a trash-raider.

Dogs are fairly indiscriminate about the poo they'll eat as they would eat yours too given half the chance.

A top entry, covered litter box may be your only option but I can imagine all kinds of chaos with this system plus determined dog, too.

Not all dogs do this....I grew up with a succession of three shelties. One definitely did, but the other two did not, and they did have the opportunity.

Of the two that didn't, one fancied herself quite the lady, and the other was spoiled with a steady diet of bacon fat and fried eggs, which probably kept her pretty satisfied.
