Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has advice for deterring the neighbourhood cats? As much as I love them all and have affectionately given each one a new name, at least one of them has started spraying my patio furniture and its sent one of my (indoor) cats into a bit of a spiral. Thank you :)

Try yelling, chasing after them, and squirting. Thats what I did. It didn't work at all mind you, but who cares what the neighbors think!

There are a couple of variants on the motion activated sprinkler idea that have been suggested in past threads. I don't know that any of them are all that cheap or easy, but apart from talking to the neighbor, that is pretty much the type of solution you are looking at.

If you can do sprinklers, it is the quickest way to solve the problem...more than plants, predator urine, smells like citrus that cats don't like.
