I am fostering Violet because she was so shy and timid she would not leave her bed at the shelter, or her crate at the other fosters house (too much commotion, dogs, cats, kids). She was very timid at first, but now she is a happy, playful kitty. Still hides if anyone strange is in the house, and is not crazy about being picked up, but she has come a long way. She will become permanent as soon as I fill out the papers.
She has taken a liking to Pansy. He is named Pansy because he is a major scardey cat, and she is named violet, for shrinking violet. He was a foster too, so shy I could not bear to allow him sit in a pet smart glass cage with people gawking at him. He would have had a heart attack. They are both cat friendly though.
