My cat’s sutures seem to have opened post spay?

Hi,

I attached a picture of her sutures she got spayed last Wednesday. The vet told me she didn’t need a cone so she didn’t have a cone for the first 1.5 days then I added a little cone for her I got from Amazon that I take off when she eats. She’s been jumping around a bit on counters so I wonder if that’s what caused this. Shoudl I take her to the vet tomorrow ? I’m very worried about this.

There is a very tiny bit open but nothing to worry about as it seems to be healing well and looks healthy. There will be internal stitches too so just keep an eye on it.

That actually doesn't look bad at all. The little bit of blood is not unusual. As V verna davies said, there are also internal stitches, so just try to keep her quiet for a few days. I think she will be just fine.

Thanks everyone I took Churro to the vet and they said she looked fine!!

I had a feeling they would say that, but it's good to know for sure! I know that you are much more relaxed about things now, and sometimes that alone is worth the visit.
