Sam has had a boatload of issues that all came on at once (which I posted about in the cat health forum). Total, everything we’ve done so far has been over $1900 (multiple exam fees, bloodwork x2, surgery + sedation to remove fluid, x-rays, ultrasound, medications, and tests run on the drained fluid). The vet was the one who did the ultrasound but that was before we knew for sure what was wrong, but now wants to call in a radiologist/specialist to do a heart ultrasound specifically. The gofundme will cover the costs of the ultrasound + sedation, and I may have to adjust the goal after we determine if he can have surgery. Basically, they originally suspected CHF, and after jumping around a bit on the diagnosis, now believe he may have a (most likely benign) heart tumor. Any donations and shares are appreciated so much. Thank you.
