My cat is going to be spayed tomorrow

As the tittle says, my cat is being spayed tomorrow morning. It's my first female cat so I don't know what to expect. Is there anything I should know about her care on the days after the surgery? I am going to ask the vet but I wanted to know if someone here has any kind of particular advice. Also, I can't help to be a little worried, the procedure seems a lot more invasive and painfull than what is done to male cats.
