Mucus plug or discharge?

So i have a queen that is due any day now (We don't know the exact conception date). Any time I have looked at her vagina it has been closed. Today I noticed it looks a bit open/swollen. I noticed today she had dried stuff on her. She wont let me clean it off but she can't reach it to clean herself. Can anyone tell me if she's close to labor or if that is just normal discharge?

She’s close to labor. This is normal, though it could still be 1-3 days.
