For a cat named Blossom we have certainly had our share of flower-related worries. A few months ago you were all very helpful with a concern about lilies in a bouquet my wife received.

So today, my wife’s cousin sent us some flowers. The florist says there are no lilies in the bouquet and that she has cats herself. She listed the flowers in the bouquet as anemones, snap dragons, ranunculus, tulips, kale/ornamental cabbage, stock, wax flower, eucalyptus, huckleberry foliage, and eriostemon.

I will leave the flowers outside on an outdoor table (Blossom is an indoor cat with a catio. The flowers will be inaccessible to her.) I know with lilies even a little bit of the pollen can be deadly. Does anyone know with these other flowers? I know anemone is said to be toxic to cats. I won’t bring these in, but how worried do I have to be about being near the flowers/ possibly touching them and then coming in the house?
