Easy, a victorian corner chair that I "inherited". I just got it back after having it reglued and the upholstery updated from the 1950s vinyl some thoughtless soul (probably my late grandmother) had put on it. This is a "before" pic. I haven't any since I got it back from the guy who fixed it up 2 weeks ago, but as you can see its unique and has good bones. Icky, icky vinyl, though....
My Grandpa gave me a wall mounted curio cabinet he built for my Gram. I just need to get the shelves from his house (in another state). My Dad brought the cabinet down to me in his truck on his last trip here; but they couldn't find the shelves at the time. I've got it hanging up, empty, anyway! It's pretty; but I mostly love it because he built it.
My comfy, comfy bed! It's like sleeping on a cloud. Unfortunately, I NEVER sleep in it. I bought it very shortly before I moved in with my BF, and since it is only a double and his is a queen, we sleep in his. But oh my, I love cuddling up in it to read a book!
When I was a little girl, I lived with my grandmother during all my school vacations. She had a little rocking chair and I would fall asleep in that chair every night. And she would carry me up to bed. When I married and had our son, she gave me the little rocking chair. I still have it. It needs some work desperately (the caning is coming apart, the rungs are in very bad shape and the seat is in very bad shape), but I'm afraid to have anything done to it.
