Hello, I’m currently feeding my cat a mixture of Ziwi peak air dried lamb and mackerel and instinct original dry chicken. I’m thinking of adding a bit of Royal canin digestive care, as it has prebiotics and psyllium husk for the digestion and to prevent hairballs. Is it okay to mix 3 different types of dry food or will it create an unbalanced diet?
thanks

It's fine!

Make sure to keep them in their own bags and not mix in a large container. If there's a recall on one, you don't want to throw out all 3 foods. Plus each manufacturer's bag is made to keep their own food fresh.

Mix it per portion and store the bags safely and you'll be good to go!

Edit: To be clear, if they're in their own bags, the bags can be stored in the same container. I keep the two bags together, in a 6 L container, side by side. Just don't dump them in.
