Hi all especially Bob and Di and others showing sympathy. I placed ads on local media ,newspaper, etc and got one lead from the local Milford on Sea website. Apparently Poppy has been sighted about half a mile away in a garden, where she was hunting apparently for rats. The kind lady there sent photos and it is definitely her. What a relief that she is OK at least for now. We had noticed she often went in that direction and there is woodland near there. Reckon she has another home and it might be people who go away a lot, There are a lot of second homes here on the south coast. Something must have frightened her perhaps a dog as there are lots around now. Anyway we are hoping she may return this winter. for some of the time at least, to grab her food and then sleep all day on her duvet!
