I indulged on this day with pizza, one of my favorites.

Mission accomplished!

I told hubby what day it is and asked what flavor cupcakes he wanted. He wanted to know if I made up a holiday so I could go to Kara’s. I told him, no, it’s a totally legit national holiday—I’m surprised the banks are open today.

How were they? They have one of these in the Oxbow Market in Napa and I have not tried them.

They're good! All that frosting is super sweet, though--I find that the mini ones are just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
