Making Barn/farm Cats Of Unsocializable Ferals?

Just a thought, as been told here in AZ many cats go this way if unadoptable to insure some safety & folks watching over them for food, med needs, etc. Anyone w/ experience ever taking a cat to become a barn or farm cat? I never knew of this til recently & know very little of details.

TY & I'll read it. Here in AZ there's a program too but haven't really looked into only b/c I hope to keep feral as a pet (unless it is impossible for some reason). But time will tell later this summer..

I live in Connecticut and I believe a barn cat program exists in my state.
