So i own 2 of these for my 7 cats...it has been 2 months now.
Couple of questions....i read somewhere to spray stink free spray powder on the interior of the globe to keep the waste clumps from sticking.
Would this product damage the pvc liner?
Also...i have done one deep cleaning on my units. However, i unscrew the pvc from the globe so i can dry the inside when it inadvertently gets wet from hosing it down.
I also unscrew the black arm in the back before washing it to keep the spring inside from rusting.
Is this overkill? And the reason i ask is, today i heard a clunk noise in one of my units and it turns out the center weight came out of its pocket..i guess from my rigorous cleaning????
So, i unscrewed the liner from the globe and had to stick the weight back into its pocket
I feel like if i am not able to dry underneath the pvc, that mold will grow..even though there are vents.
Any input is greatly appreciated
