Kitty poop question?

Hello, I just had a question one of my cats looks like she's pooping up petrified poop or maybe it's a hairball in her poop and it seems like its all the time. any suggestions or advice welcomed

I asked the vet about hard, black poop and took a few when Belle went for her check up. Inside the poop was cat fur. Vet said it's normal and healthy for cats to pass fur through pooping.

Belle is fed wet & raw and is given plenty of water.

However, to be on the safe side, call your vet.

By petrified, do you mean light colored , dark or just very hard? Color can be from things ingested. Also, not enough liquids can make poop look petrified. Is kitty straining to poop as though constipated? Adding more liquids to the diet might help. Wet food is far better than a diet of dry food. A photo might help but if kitty is showing signs of difficulty then you need to let the vet know.
