One of my semi-feral cats had kittens Saturday night/Sunday morning in our garage. Whenever she was not with them they were constantly crying. Now today I have not heard them at all when she has been away from them. I took a look at them when she wasn't around and I could see them curled up to each other and they were breathing. Is this normal for these kittens to be so quiet?

If they're warm and well-fed, they shouldn't be squally. Maybe the first couple days her milk hadn't come in and they were hungry, and now it has come in. Quiet is good! If they were noisy all the time they'd be eaten by predators.

Thanks. Glad to know. I was concerned about them.
